Process
Zadie & Co. facilitated conversations with board members and staff to develop and launch a program that was aligned on goals and objectives, provide ongoing coaching to program leadership, and equip staff with the necessary tools to run and sustain the program into the future.
Challenge
The Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens sought to develop a micro-awards program that would strengthen community connections with Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The challenge was finding the time and resources required to thoughtfully design, test, and launch a successful new program.

Comprehensive program design
A ready-to-go implementation guide informed by the program pilot, including internal and external communication tools, detailed recruitment and selection process, scoring rubrics, and evaluation plans
Tools to strengthen connections & capture feedback
A suite of strategies to strengthen connections between community members and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, as well as tools designed to amplify community voices and improve the program over time, including a program scorecard, participant surveys, and a detailed evaluation plan
Team capacity & empowerment
An equipped staff that has the tools, templates, and training they need to independently launch and manage an ongoing program
